Good Evening! I hope you all had a restful weekend and spent
time with your families! Today we went to a beautiful city called Eger. On our way to Eger we stopped at a small village where they make their own linens. We loved it here and spent a lot of time shopping in the gift shop! While
in Eger we visited a stone fort. This fort was used for men and women to hind
during World War II. It was beautiful and overlooked the city. We also walked
through the city. In the city we shopped, ate McDonald’s and ate strudels. Lots
of shopping and food! We skipped the wine tasting because it was freezing! The
weather was dreary, windy, and COLD! We were all miserable. So we went home and
we are now preparing to teach the Hungarian children tomorrow. We hope you all
have a wonderful Sunday and have a great week at school.
These are the machines to make the fabrics.
City of Eger.
As you can see I am very miserable and cold!
Alyssa is cold too!
We were so cold we were trying to hide to break away from the wind!
McDonalds in Hungary!
This is NOT a drive thru it is a walk up!
Bet y'all where excited to see that McDonalds! Diet cokes and teas!! Did it taste the same as ours? Can't wait for you to come home! Miss you all!

ReplyDeleteStephanie- The food was pretty similar, a little bit of a different menu, but MORE expensive. Can you believe that? The ketchup is not the same at all but the fries were the best and the EXACT same :) No tea :(
ReplyDeleteHolly- Thank you for all of the messages. Brings a smile to my heart!
