Hungary Trip: An Update! March 9th

Hi Everyone! Greetings! I feel so bad that I have been so behind on the blog for the past two days. We have been non stop “on the go” for the past two days. We wake up at about 6am and don’t get back to our hotel till about 10pm. This weekend is going to be very busy as we are traveling so I may slack a little more L But… For now I will recap what we have done the past two days! On Wednesday we traveled to Budapest to visit the Peto Institute. This institute helps children with disabilities and allows for them to learn in a unique environment. So far this has been the most influential visit for us. We were astonished by the way the children were learning. Unfortunately we could not take any pictures in the institute but it is a memory we will never forget. Also while in Budapest we had lunch at a restaurant that cooks all over their food on a log fire! It was delicious!! Then we went to a mall. We all felt at home in this mall. After that we learned how to Folk Dance! None of us were very good at it, but we all had fun learning. After a long day on Wednesday we started off Thursday by teaching children in the schools. We have taken lots of pictures and videos of the schools and children and can not wait to show them to you! They have also made you beautiful flags, pictures, and letters! We then visited a beautiful university in Godolla. This school is known for their learning in agriculture. After that we visited a castle! Wow… it was breathtaking! It was owned by the Kings and Queens of Hungary. Can you believe that they even had a church in their own home?!? It was almost as big as Saint Michaels! Then we went back to our favorite pizza restaurant here in Jazbernney(The city we are staying in). It was also Women’s Day here in Hungary so everyone wished us a happy Women’s Day and we received flowers and chocolate! This morning we were teaching in the primary schools and we are now off to a schools and museum in Jazago. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and know that we miss you very much!
