March 5th

Happy Monday to all! Greetings from Hungary! It is about 7:30 pm here and we have just made it back to our hotel. Today was an amazing day! We experienced the Hungarian schools for the very first time! In so many ways the schools are just like us, but in so many ways they are different from us. After visiting the schools we had some rest for about 1 hour and then we went to a “Welcoming Party” at the college university. The students were so welcoming to us. We played several of games and ate lots of wonderful Hungarian dishes. We loved the games so much that we are going to bring them back into the classroom with you! Tomorrow we teach our first lesson in the schools. Wish us luck! We miss you all SOOO VERY MUCH! Enjoy the cool weather in Ft. Myers; we are planning on snow here on Wednesday! Have a wonderful day!

This is the groups we sat in to play games...

 Singing "We are the Champions"!

  1. Oh wow--I can't even begin to tell you how exciting it was to hear from you all today. I thought the children were going to jump out of their skin. They all miss you so much! I have some questions from them...so here goes.
Do they have the same priests as we do?
What do their clothes look like?
    Do they have AR?
    Do they have Bey Blades?
    Are you having fun?
Do they understand you? Do they know what you are saying?
What is your favorite food so far in Hungary?
    What is the culture like?
Where do they eat and what do they eat?
How many inches of snow do you have?
    How cold is it?
Do they have toys? What is the most popular toy?
So as you can see, we are very eager to hear ALL about your trip. It was so great to see and talk to you today! Keep having fun and stay warm. We love and miss you :). Mrs. McGovern's class xo
